Dolo purnima/ Holi
March 3 @ 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
FreeDola Purnima, celebrated on the full moon day of the Phalguna month, marks the joyous festival of colors, known as Holi across India. In Jagannath tradition, it holds special spiritual significance as Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Jagannath, is worshipped in his playful, divine form. Idols of the Lord are carried in beautifully decorated palanquins (Dola Biman) and devotees rejoice with kirtans, colors, and offerings, symbolizing love, unity, and divine joy.
